Complete This Survey from Council President Campbell’s Office for ReWild

The arrival of 2021 finds a new Mayor of San Diego and a new session of San Diego City Council in place, and a number of area councilmembers are sending out surveys to their constituents to gather more information on the most pressing issues in their communities.

Mission Bay and our ReWild Mission Bay effort is geographically located in San Diego City Council District 2, represented by Council President Jennifer Campbell. Her office recently sent a survey to constituents and neighbors to find out what they’d like to see addressed over the next two years.

So if you live in any of the District 2 communities, like the Bay Park or Bay Ho neighborhoods of Clairemont, Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, North Pacific Beach, Linda Vista, Midway, Loma Portal, Ocean Beach, or Point Loma, and if you have a moment today or this weekend, we’d like to ask you to spend a few minutes with this survey.

Ask the Council President’s office to become more involved in championing the ReWild Mission Bay vision of a revitalized Mission Bay Park with restored native wetlands and salt marsh habitat, along with a restored Rose Creek, in the northeast corner of Mission Bay as detailed in our Wildest proposal, now being considered by the city and endorsed by the 49 members of the ReWild Coalition.

And if you don’t live or vote in District 2, perhaps you have a friend or family member who does. Please share this survey or e-mail with them with the request to submit their thoughts to Council President Campbell’s office, as she will be setting the council agenda in conjunction with Mayor Gloria over the next two years.

Thank you as always for your ongoing support, and free to also add your thoughts to the survey about your support for upgrades to storm water infrastructure, increased funding for Parks and Recreation, and enforcement of the Multiple Species Conservation Plan (MSCP).

We hope you and your loved ones are safe and well.
