Support the ReWild Coalition at Dec 7th Planning Commission

As we approach the critical date of December 7th for the Planning Commission’s decision on the City of San Diego’s draft De Anza Natural Plan, your involvement has never been more crucial. This is a pivotal moment for the future of Mission Bay, and your voice can make a significant impact.

Here’s How You Can Help:

  1. Attend the Meeting: Mark your calendars and join us at the Planning Commission meeting. Show your support and be part of the decision-making process.
    • Thursday, December 7th – 9AM
    • City’s Administration Bldg. 12th  floor, 202 C Street, San Diego CA. 92101.
    • Attendance via Zoom is also an option
  2. Speak Up: If you’re passionate about preserving and restoring our wetlands, consider making a public comment at the meeting. Your perspective is valuable, and sharing it can influence the outcome. We will have talking points available, but check out the ReWild website to see why the Wildest plan is the best option.
  3. Spread the Word: Tell your friends, family, and colleagues about the meeting. Share this information on social media, in your community groups, and with anyone interested in environmental conservation.
  4. Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest developments regarding the De Anza Natural Plan. Knowledge is power, and staying informed means you can advocate more effectively. Check out these Op-Ed’s from our coalition members Tyler Vandosnell and John Heatherington about the De Anza Plan.

Your participation is key to ensuring a sustainable future for Mission Bay and a future for our endangered birds that we share the bay with. Together, we can advocate for a development plan that prioritizes wetland restoration and has a resilient future.

Let’s make our voices heard for Wetlands. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting!
