Stand and Represent Your Bay Today at City Hall

We are in the midst of a busy week of activism at ReWild Mission Bay, and we know we’ve asked a lot from you the last few weeks – far more than ever before in the history of the ReWild campaign.

And you’ve responded, again and again, because the future of Mission Bay is important to you.

But this is the week decisions are being made that will affect our bay and our park for years to come. We must be seen, and we must be heard. Especially today.

Join us today at 12 noon at San Diego City Hall at 202 West C St. with your ReWild shirts.

We must stand and represent our neighbors and neighborhoods and fellow San Diegans who are as concerned about Mission Bay as we are.

San Diego City Council is considering the future of Mission Bay Park in conjunction with a potential lease extension and settlement of the long-standing Campland lawsuit against the city.

The matter of the Campland leases is an action item TODAY at the Land Use and Housing Committee meeting at 1 p.m. on the 12th floor of San Diego City Hall, located at 202 West C St.

The ReWild Mission Bay coalition will meet this afternoon at 12 noon at Civic Center Plaza just outside City Hall to go over talking points, then head upstairs. The meeting will begin at 1 p.m.

Can we count on you to join us?

Can we count on you to speak? If not, can you cede your time to someone else?

Can you wear your ReWild Mission Bay shirt? (if you don’t have one, we’ll have extras)

Please join us at San Diego City Hall this afternoon at 12 noon, and help stand up for our bay, our neighborhoods, and the native plants and animals that call Mission Bay home.

And if you haven’t sent an e-mail yet, do so here via our Action Network account. Thanks!
